Meet Your Notary

Hekmat Rahimi

I'm Hekmat, a Washington-commissioned notary public serving the South Puget Sound. I started Rahimi Notary Co. with a simple belief: legal-adjacent services should feel clear, calm, and human. Whether you're finalizing a mortgage, protecting a parent's wishes, or notarizing a child's travel consent, I show up on time, explain each step, and make sure you leave with documents that are correct.

I'm fluent in English, Dari, and Farsi. That means you can ask questions, express concerns, and understand exactly what you're signing. I maintain National Notary Association training and background screening standards, and I am bonded with a $10,000 surety requirement as part of my Washington commission.

Ask a Question
A mobile notary travels to your location — home, office, hospital, care facility, or coffee shop — to witness and notarize documents at a time that fits your schedule. You don't need to visit a bank or office.
Washington allows notaries to charge up to $10 per notarial act for standard services like acknowledgments, jurats, and power of attorney. My base fee is $10 per notarized signature, per signer. Loan signing fees are quoted separately based on the document package.
Yes. A mobile travel fee covers my time, mileage, and the convenience of coming to you. It starts at $35 for local appointments and increases depending on distance, location, or after-hours needs. I'll always confirm the final travel fee before booking so there are no surprises.
I primarily serve King and Pierce counties, including Tacoma, Kent, Renton, Federal Way, Puyallup, Auburn, and surrounding South Puget Sound communities. If you're just outside these areas, contact me — I may be able to accommodate with an adjusted travel fee.
All signers must present a current government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license, passport, state ID card, or military ID. The name on the ID must reasonably match the name on the document. I cannot notarize for someone without acceptable identification.
Absolutely. I routinely visit hospitals, assisted living communities, and private residences. I work respectfully with facility staff to ensure a smooth signing while protecting the signer's privacy and dignity. Please let me know the facility name when booking.
Yes, evening and weekend appointments are available when booked in advance. I understand many clients need flexibility outside normal business hours. Let me know your preferred time, and I'll do my best to accommodate.
